梅根·布萊迪：與南京“感同身受”，我要唱出青年一代的和平之聲

在今年國家公祭日當(dāng)晚舉行的“燭光祭·國際和平集會”上，來自加拿大的十七歲女孩兒梅根·布萊迪以一首原創(chuàng)歌曲《感同身受》感動了許多觀眾。
At this year's candlelit ritual on the national memorial ceremony for the victims of Nanjing Massacre, Megan Brady, a 17-year-old Canadian girl, impressed a lot of people with her original song Mercy.
曾祖父和魏特琳的事跡是我創(chuàng)作的靈感
梅根的曾祖父是當(dāng)年鼓樓醫(yī)院外科醫(yī)生理查德·布萊迪。裴睿德，是理查德·布萊迪當(dāng)時所用的中文名。1937年12月，理查德·布萊迪送妻子和女兒去香港后，準(zhǔn)備再返回南京，但受到了日本人的阻攔。直到1938年的2月，他才又回到鼓樓醫(yī)院，支持威爾遜醫(yī)生行醫(yī)救人。
和所有當(dāng)時向中國同胞伸出援手的國際友人一樣，理查德·布萊迪也并沒有同自己的孩子分享過多的戰(zhàn)亂記憶。梅根的父親斯蒂芬·布萊迪在長大后才逐漸了解到祖父的事跡。2007年，斯蒂芬?guī)е陜H5歲的梅根，來到了南京，追尋祖父的足跡。
Stephen thought he had come to the wrong place the first time he set foot in the Drum Tower Hospital. But when he saw his grandfather's name on the physician's registry for the hospital, Stephan said he felt a sense of home.
But Megan was too young to understand the severity of the Nanjing Massacre and the importance of the work of the Nanking Safety Zone. Years later, Megan came back to Nanjing for the memorial ceremony. She was deeply touched by the work of Minnie Vautrin.
明妮·魏特琳（前排左三）
明妮·魏特琳成長于美國伊利諾伊州，她于1912年來到中國。在南京大屠殺期間，金陵女子文理學(xué)院成為專門收容婦女兒童的難民所，魏特琳便是難民所創(chuàng)辦人之一。為了保護(hù)中國婦女不被日本兵抓走，她常常挺身而出。拉貝先生在他的日記當(dāng)中曾經(jīng)形象地評價魏特琳女士，說她像抱窩的老母雞帶小雞那樣保護(hù)著他們。
站在明妮·魏特琳雕像前，梅根深受觸動，不久之后便寫下了《感同身受》的歌詞。“我好像看到了金陵女子學(xué)院里面人們的臉龐，那些孩子們，女人們。這首歌是我謙卑的嘗試，來傳達(dá)他們當(dāng)時的情緒和感受?！泵犯f到。

音樂在青年一代中產(chǎn)生共鳴
梅根在采訪中說她對于南京大屠殺在中國以外不為太多人知曉感到震驚。她希望通過這首歌、通過音樂讓世界各地的青年一代都對這一段歷史“感同身受”。
In the interview, Megan said that she was shocked at how little the awareness outside of China is around the Nanjing Massacre. She wished to share this piece of history with the young generation across the world through her music.
梅根的真摯感情透露在《感同身受》的歌詞里，同來自南京的年輕曲作者李思瀚產(chǎn)生了共鳴。作為一名土生土長的南京人，每年李思瀚都會聽到南京大屠殺的警報聲長鳴，梅根的詞讓他也“感同身受”。
姜超楠是江蘇電視臺的一名記者，她近幾年拍攝過多名國際友人的后代。也正是她，用鏡頭記錄下了這首歌的誕生。
According to Jiang Chaonan, more and more descendants of these foreign heroes took their children to the ceremony in recent years, passing on the spirit of peace.
和平是我們所有人的事情
12月14日，梅根和父親再次來到侵華日軍南京大屠殺遇難同胞紀(jì)念館參觀。在明妮·魏特琳的雕像前，梅根說她想清唱《感同身受》，把這首歌獻(xiàn)給祖父、獻(xiàn)給明妮·魏特琳、也獻(xiàn)給南京。
Megan's singing soon drew a lot of visitors. Although not everyone could understand what she was singing, the idea of peace was spread.
1937年那場浩劫中，有一批心懷正義的國際友人，在無際的黑暗中播撒下人性之光，其后的歲月里，他們的后人也循著先輩足跡一次次發(fā)出和平之聲：
1996年，約翰·拉貝外孫女萊因哈特夫人獻(xiàn)出塵封的《拉貝日記》
2015年，約翰·拉貝孫子托馬斯·拉貝被授予"中國人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭勝利70周年"紀(jì)念章
2017年至2019年，約翰·馬吉之孫克里斯·馬吉6次來到南京，尋訪二十多地，用影像穿越南京今昔。
I think my favorite part of the song is love douse the fires and peace come with the rain. The imagery behind that, I can just see the city of Nanjing rising from the ashes as it does that. It has become such an incredible city of peace and it has returned to this place before the war.
